Back by popular demand, we are offering Fall Storage Shares for 2019. Unlike our Farm/Market Shares, the Fall Storage Shares produce availability and amount of each item will be determined by the farmer.
After great feedback from past Fall Storage Share members we are changing how we package and deliver our produce for the Fall Storage Shares for 2019. Check out the details below!
-Fall Storage Shares will be available for pick up five times starting in mid-October.
- At each delivery there will be totes of each crop we have available for that pick up. On each tote will be the number of items each member gets to take home (ex. 1 bag of carrots, 2 butternut squashes, 1 bag of onions, etc.). This will reduce the amount of tote washing that we have to do in late fall when the weather is cold and the water is freezing cold on our hands!
- We ask that each member brings reusable bags to pack their produce in to take home.
-Fall Storage Shares will be available for pick-up on farm, or at a long-time member’s home in Madison (Location is still being finalized).
- -Pick up will begin Saturday, October 19 from 10am to Noon. Additional dates are as follows: November, 2, 16, 30, December 14.
- -If you cannot make the pick up window, you may pick up at the farm at a later date. We ask that you notify us immediately if there is a complication. Shares will only be held for two days on farm if not picked up, after that, they will be donated.
The following are the vegetables that we grow for our storage shares. Due to weather, seed availability, and other growing conditions, some items may not appear in the box.
