Not much new going on… except… our first seedlings are up! And thanks to our wonderful photographer, Kate, we have some neat pictures of our onion seedlings. Currently our onions are inside the house because it doesn’t pay to heat the greenhouse for a few flats of onion seeds. We have refurbished two of our germination boxes with brand-new plastic and heat tapes. Once we have a few more things growing we will use those in our greenhouse.
We are accepting sign-up forms, so get them in to us before we fill up for the year. You don’t want to miss out on great tasting produce!

Are the different onion varieties bulb onions or green onions? Are you going to grow leeks?
These four varieties are all bulb onions. We will be growing both scallions (green onions) and leeks as well.
Looks yummy! Make sure Kate gets me some flyers to put up in my office.
