Plant Pick Up Policy Adjustment
Hi all!
So we are adjusting our pick up policy for plants ordered through our website to make it less confusing. Here is the wording that will appear on our shop pages, so that you are all familiar with what is going on.
“Due to the uncertainty regarding social distancing requirements in the month of May, we will be collecting your order and setting it aside for you in order to limit the number of people passing through our greenhouse.
Annual bedding plants and hanging baskets will be available starting May 1. All cold weather tolerant vegetables and herbs will be available starting May 1. All frost sensitive vegetables and herbs will be available starting May 15.
On farm pick up is available any day of the week, but please call 24 hours in advance to arrange a pick up time. We will be delivering to Madison on Saturdays starting May 2 to a friend’s house. The address will be given once your order is placed. Kate’s cell 608-234-0674.”
We have made this adjustment to try to spread pick up times out more evenly over the course of the week. We were afraid by limiting pick up to weekends, there would be higher foot traffic at those times. We are trying to keep both you, our customers, safe, and our family.
